Since our beginnings in 1995 as the Ballarat Community Legal Service, we’ve grown to support people across 11 local government areas - always driven by the belief that better access to justice can change life stories.

We offer free legal information, advice, casework support, duty lawyer services, and related assistance to individuals. We’re deeply involved in community development, legal education, capacity building, and law reform—always shaped by the real needs of the communities we serve.
